Milan, Aug. 28 (LaPresse) – One person was killed and another seriously injured in an ambush that took place this morning, at around 5:30 a.m., in Lauropoli, in the province of Cosenza. According to what has been established so far, the two were in an office of a cleaning and landscaping company when one or more people began shooting. The man who was the victim of the ambush died instantly. Investigations by the Cassano Carabinieri are underway to reconstruct the circumstances and sequence of events; at this stage, the involvement of organized crime has not been ruled out.
