The 31-year-old man was receiving treatment at the Mental Health Centre in the provincial capital. The woman’s body has been handed over to the judicial authorities, who will order a post-mortem examination in the coming hours. The 31-year-old arrested in connection with his mother’s death – she was found dead last night in her flat in Tito, in the province of Potenza – confessed at the end of his interrogation, which was also attended by the Public Prosecutor, Camillo Falvo.
