Milan, 15 Aug. (LaPresse) – At Catania Airport, “following the downgrading of the volcanic activity alert from Red to Orange, the immediate reopening of Sector C1 has been ordered. The current contamination of the airport infrastructure and the presence of volcanic ash observed in Sector B3 mean that arrivals and departures are currently suspended until 14:00 today, 15 August. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flight with their airline before travelling to the airport.
