Roggero case, Piantedosi: “Pardon? We need to see the documents; the procedure is strict”

Rome, 18 July (LaPresse) – “A pardon for Mario Roggero? We need to see the documents; the procedure is strict…”. So said Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi in an interview with *la Repubblica*. Commenting on the petition to support the request for a pardon or, at the very least, the jeweller’s release from prison, the Interior Minister stated: “I am not an ordinary citizen, alas. So I don’t ask myself that question; I already have plenty of other issues to deal with.”
