Milan, 26 March (LaPresse) – He threatened his ex-partner, both verbally and physically, going so far as to follow her whilst she was taking the children to nursery or sleeping in the building’s entrance hall, and even went as far as to grab her by the throat. Local police officers arrested a 36-year-old man, born in El Salvador, on charges of abuse and threats against his Peruvian ex-partner and mother of four children. The man had already been reported by the woman, who had been subjected to his abuse since 2020. Yesterday morning, the man had followed the woman as she took her children to school and nursery. He caught up with her, and after groping her private parts, he grabbed her by the neck and threatened her. For several days, the man had been turning up outside her home, insistently asking her to let him in, and had even gone so far as to spend the night in the entrance hall, harassing her with numerous messages and phone calls, always making the same demand and repeating death threats. This pattern had persisted since the start of their relationship, involving physical and sexual violence, and had already led the woman to report him in 2025. Until Wednesday morning, when the local police were alerted by the nursery attended by one of the children. The woman had been attacked, grabbed by the neck and thrown against a gate, but she had managed to switch on her mobile phone and record four minutes of threats, as well as the man’s attempts to take her house keys and the phone itself.
