Rome, 27 January (LaPresse) – Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini has requested €100,000 in damages from Fabrizio Corona in the defamation trial in which the former celebrity photographer is standing trial before the preliminary hearing judge in Rome. The request is contained in the civil suit filed today by the footballer’s lawyer, Federico Olivo. The investigation revolves around an interview published by Corona on the website dillingernews.it, in which a 25-year-old escort falsely accused the Giallorossi midfielder of stalking. The woman is charged with slander. The proceedings have been postponed until 17 March.
