Milan, 15 January (LaPresse) – A fire broke out at around 10 o’clock this morning in ward 16 of the Sacco Hospital in Milan. Within a few minutes, the flames engulfed part of the Diagnostic Archive, also affecting the areas where medical staff were conducting examinations and consultations on dozens of patients at the time. No one was injured or suffered from smoke inhalation thanks to the joint efforts of the fire brigade and hospital staff. All patients were evacuated, and the thirty firefighters who responded to the scene are now carrying out clean-up operations.
