Forti case: Chico obtains permission to work outside prison

Rome, 31 December (LaPresse) – Chico Forti will leave Verona prison to work as a pizza chef and windsurfing instructor for disabled children. The decision was made by the Venice Supervisory Court which, as reported by Il Gazzettino, granted him the so-called Article 21 of the prison system: permission to work and carry out voluntary activities outside prison. Forti returned to Italy in May 2024 after spending more than 20 years in prison in the United States for the murder of Dale Pike in Florida on 15 February 1998.
