Rome, 29 December (LaPresse) – The Brescia Financial Police seized 2,850 kg of illegal and highly dangerous fireworks during 14 separate operations conducted throughout the province. Specifically, 1.1 tonnes were being sold in commercial establishments without complying with the required safety criteria, as they were stored in areas adjacent to flammable materials. Over 500 kg were being held and sold by private individuals, and almost 400 kg were handmade products, therefore lacking the safety requirements required by law and with no possibility of tracing the supply chain. The fireworks seized were highly dangerous, with a total net explosive content of over 7 quintals. The operations carried out by the Fiamme Gialle led to the reporting of 14 people, one of whom was arrested.
