The President has covered many crucial topics in his American Jobs Plan
Biden has delivered his first address to a Joint Session of Congress.
First speech by US President Biden to Congress 100 days after taking office, which was the opportunity to present the American Jobs Plan, the 1,800 billion dollar recovery plan. The plan would include investment in children, families and education to help rebuild an economy devastated by the virus and compete with rising global competitors.
“America is ready for takeoff. We are working again. Dreaming again. Discovering again. Leading the world again. We have shown each other and the world: There is no quit in America,” Biden said.
About the racial conditions of these crucial moments Biden said:“We have all seen the knee of injustice on the neck of Black America,” Biden said, referencing Floyd’s death under Chauvin’s knee. “Now is our opportunity to make real progress.”
