The leader of the far- right group Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, 36, was arrested on Monday 4th of January.

Metropolitan Police of Washington charged him with destruction of property and possession of high-capacity firearm magazines. Tarrio has also been charged for tearing down and burning a Black Lives Matter banner belonging to a historic Black church.

The order bans the leader of the Proud Boys from the nation’s capital, with very limited exceptions to meet with his attorney or appear in court. In these hours Tarrio affirmed on his social media: “The ProudBoys will turn out in record numbers on Jan 6th but this time with a twist.”

Protests planned by supporters of President Donald Trump seems to be still in place.
