Napoli and national team striker Giacomo Raspadori speaks at press conference in Coverciano

“What is Naples like from the inside? I’m finding myself really well, I think I’ve entered a big family. With teammates of an important human depth. They are really good people, for a guy like me who comes from a totally different reality, being with competent people brings you advantages. It was not easy but it was all very nice and spontaneous.” Thus Napoli and national team striker Giacomo Raspadori in a press conference from Coverciano, talking about his new experience at Luciano Spalletti’s court.

“What will it be like to watch the World Cup from home? It will definitely be very heavy. The dream of every child who starts playing soccer is to play the World Cup, so it will be a difficult time but there is to react and build our future as best we can,” Raspadori continued.

“Starting over with those who have been here the longest is the right thing. We need to regain enthusiasm, get back into the game and start again. Work is the only way we know how to rebuild and get back to doing something great. There is no worry, there is a desire to do well and get back into the game. Now we have two important games ahead of us in the Nations League (against England and Hungary, ed.), there are a lot of games and we have to get there in the best possible way. The important thing is to get back to having fun,” the Napoli and national team striker further explained in a press conference. “To take the field in such a prestigious stadium as San Siro with the national team jersey is something great, I work every day to make these dreams come true,” he added. “To regain enthusiasm we have to have fun on the field and always try to want to improve. I don’t think enthusiasm was lacking before but it can happen that something goes out after doing such a big thing. It was our fault, now we have to start again and do it in the best way,” he added.

World Cup? “Heavy to see it at home.”

Election: “Right to have the Azzurri vote.”

“We will have the opportunity to go and vote and I think it is very important for everyone to express their vote and their thoughts. I think unless there are very long trips to be made it is the right thing. I will vote in Bologna.” Thus Napoli and national team striker Giacomo Raspadori in a press conference from Coverciano ahead of the match between Italy and England at San Siro on Friday night. Italy coach Roberto Mancini has already given his approval to leave Sunday morning free for the Azzurri to reach their respective seats.
