Chemical plant on outskirts of Milan catches fire. See the aerial footage.
(LaPresse) New video shot by firefighters shows the dense black smoke from the fire at the Nitrolchimica company in San Giuliano Milanese. The overflight of the area by the Fire Department’s helicopter and drones served to more accurately define the extent and impact of the incident. Coordination of the intervention is in charge of the Milan Prefecture, which has also convened Arpa, along with the Police and other agencies involved. The regional Environmental Protection Agency reportedly found no significant environmental criticalities.
