(LaPresse) “Cinemas and theaters are experiencing a dramatic situation: energy costs have increased fivefold. We were coming out of the difficulties of the pandemic, but the bills threaten to bring many theaters to their knees.”
This is the alarm raised by Massimo Arcangeli, director general of Anec Lazio, the national association that brings together cinema and theater exhibitors, describes a situation out of control: “Small theaters but also big names such as Brancaccio, Ambra Jovinelli or Sistina are facing figures out of control and this makes it difficult to plan the season and therefore the restart.”
