As far back as 1990, Miss Italy founder Enzo Mirigliani along with his daughter, Patrizia, were keen to highlight the beauty of Italian-American girls in the United States. The producers of the event, Alba Produzioni and Italian Television Group, will organize several pageants throughout the United States in the coming months in order to crown the winner in January 2023.
Miss Italy is launching its beauty pageant with a gala party in Miami, Florida at Villa Casuarina, known as the Versace Mansion.
Organizing Director of the event, DJ Robert Onofri along with Monica Marangoni, famous RAI journalist will officiate the festivities. Special VIP guests include producer Clarissa Burt, Italian politician Fucsia Nissoli Fitzgerald, and the fashion manager of Miss Italy/America, Dalila Krizia Mendola, along with many personalities from the United States jet set. Fashion shows, entertainment, glamor, and lots of fun will be the ingredients of the event, in one of the most exclusive locations in the world.

Competition Rules:
Open to all aspiring American girls of Italian origin (colleges and universities included).
The Miss Italia America app starting this year will also be active. By typing Miss Italia USA, girls can download the app from any app store, and sign up to take part in the competition. The declared winner will then take part in Miss Italy in the World.
