(LaPresse) There was great participation and emotion in Milan for the funeral of little Diana Pifferi, the 18-month-old girl who was left alone at home by her mother for six days and died of hardship. The small white coffin arrived at the church topped by a bouquet of white roses. Also on the hearse were the tearful grandmother and aunt. “We share dismay and horror” were the words of the Archbishop of Milan, Mario Delpini read in the church. The funeral ceremony was also attended by Milan Mayor Beppe Sala, who urged everyone to let humanity prevail even in dramatic moments
