(LaPresse) Operations continue to extinguish the vast wild fire that has been ravaging the hills of Massarosa, a town in the province of Lucca, in central Italy, since Monday evening. Five hundred people were forced to abandon their homes, 560 hectares of forest burned. Ground crews of firefighters and personnel from the Tuscany region are still at work, and Canadair and helicopter flights have resumed.
