Exhibition takes place at Palazzo Borghese in Rome from 14 June to 18 September

(LaPresse) The exhibition that takes place at Palazzo Borghese in Rome from 14 June to 18 September is entitled “Titian. Dialogues of Nature and Love”. The key work of the exhibition is ‘Nymph and Shepherd’, a testimony of the last Titian, loaned by the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna.

Made in 1575, about a year before his death, it represents an example of the artist’s use of nature: “In the last Titian, the landscape conquers a different space,” explains the curator Maria Giovanna Sarti. “It has a different role, it is the place where man acts and where there is a reflection of feelings and passions.” Among other works, ‘Venere blindfold Love’ is also on display.
