Vatican gossip full of rumors pontiff may step down
(LaPresse) Pope Francis arrived at his weekly audience in St. Peter’s Square walking with the help of a cane and his aides, who accompanied him, supporting him to the stage. For some months the Pontiff has had knee and walking problems. Rumors about his possible resignation increased last week when the Pope announced plans to appoint 21 new cardinals.
