The last victim was registered today in Naples

The silent and painful slaughter of the dead at work continues. Three victims registered only today. The first in Naples, where a 59-year-old man died in the subway construction site. The man was an employee of the company. He leaves behind two children and his wife. The accident allegedly took place in the new section between “Capodichino” and the business center. According to the first reconstructions, he was found by his colleagues in the ditch of the train platform, but he died shortly after in the hospital.

In Pietrasanta, in the province of Lucca, Andrea Bascherini, 54, was crushed by two marble slabs, lost his life. The man was married: he leaves a daughter. According to an initial reconstruction, the worker was unloading a cart of marble slabs killed him instantly.

A 73-year-old died in Castiglion Fiorentino (Arezzo): the man died of his injuries falling from a tree, from a height of about 6 meters, while he was working on a farm. 

In Italy people die every day for work. In the first six months of this year, Inail recorded 538 victims, 3 per day.
