In the European banking sector, Carlo Messina – Chief Executive Officer and CEO of the Group – is the best Chief Executive Officer for the fourth year since the introduction, six years ago, of the ranking that takes into account both the vote of financial analysts and investors institutional.
A prestigious recognition in the economic and financial world is given to Intesa Sanpaolo by the specialized research company. Institutional Investor is in fact an independent supplier with a high reputation with financial analysts and institutional investors that has been operating on the market for over forty years. The Intesa Sp team also ‘wins’ with Stefano Del Punta, the best Chief Financial Officer for the fifth year. And with Marco Delfrate, first in the ranking dedicated to Investor Relations Professionals for the fourth year.
The awards assigned by Institutional Investor, which are based on the results of an extensive survey conducted among approximately 2,000 financial analysts and institutional investors, representing over 900 companies, testify to the strong appreciation of the international community for Italian excellence with an international vocation and a great deal of attention to ESG issues, while recognizing the quality of the CEO and the management team for some time at the top of Europe in the preferences of investors.
