(LaPresse) About 2,000 firefighters have been busy since last Friday battling “the Oak Fire,” the wildfire that broke out southwest of Yosemite National Park near Midpines in Mariposa County. Thousands of acres went up in ashes as well as thousands of people were forced to leave their homes. Still under investigation are the causes of the fire that has become the worst of the year to hit the U.S. state in just a few days.
