Seville, Cordoba and Badajoz are the hottest cities
(LaPresse) As Spain struggles with a massive heat wave, temperatures in the country reached 43° Celsius (109.4° Fahrenheit). The hottest areas are in central and south-western Spain. In Madrid the thermometer reached 38°, well above the seasonal average. The climate in Barcelona is a little cooler, where it reaches 32 °. The hottest cities are Seville, Cordoba and Badajoz where the thermometer has topped 40°. According to experts, the mass of hot air from North Africa should last at least until the end of the week.
