Rome, 14 July (LaPresse) – “This is not an attack on Rai, an organisation to which I have always acknowledged it has given me a great deal, and to which I believe I have given back by being able to start again from scratch. I reaffirm my affection and esteem for the Chief Executive, Giampaolo Rossi, but I am surprised by his remarks when he claims that I was protected and looked after during periods when I was not in the limelight. I do not believe he can be referring to the period 2012–15 and the four judgements that found Rai guilty of professional demotion against me. In this case, my gratitude goes exclusively to the Court of Milan and to lawyer Maurizio Borali.” This was Milo Infante’s response to Rai CEO Rossi in LaPresse, following Rossi’s comments today as a guest on AdnTalk, where he said he was “unpleasantly struck by his interview regarding Rai and his colleagues. When you move on to another role, you shouldn’t speak ill of a company that has looked after you”.
