Rome, 5 March (LaPresse) – Britney Spears has been arrested for drink driving in Ventura County, California. According to Variety, the singer was handcuffed by the California Highway Patrol at around 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday evening and declared under arrest early on Thursday morning, at around 3 a.m. According to an arrest report, she was subsequently released and is scheduled to appear in court on 4 May. Spears recently sold her song catalogue and an undisclosed number of other rights to Primary Wave.
