Milan, 7 November (LaPresse) – Pope Leo XIV received Robert De Niro in audience at the Vatican. ‘Good morning! It’s a pleasure to meet you!’ said the Holy Father, as reported by Vatican News. ‘The pleasure is mine,’ replied the two-time Oscar-winning actor. De Niro stopped by the Vatican in the morning and spoke briefly with the Pontiff. At the end of the meeting, Leo XIV presented Robert De Niro with a rosary.
