(LaPresse) Veterinarians and volunteers from the Marine and Coastal Resources Research and Development Centre in Rayong, Thailand, are providing care for a baby dolphin that had been found dying on the country’s east coast. The mammal, of the Irrawaddy species, had been spotted near the coast by a group of fishermen last July 23: an infection prevented him from swimming. Since then he has been under round-the-clock care. He is now able to move but remains weak; his condition remains endangered.
