Milan, Aug. 6 (LaPresse) – “The boards of directors of Bidco and easyJet are pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement” on the acquisition of easyJet by Bidco, a subsidiary of Apollo Management. This was announced in a statement from easyJet. The all-cash offer values the entire issued and to-be-issued common stock of easyJet at approximately 5.7 billion pounds (equivalent to approximately 6.6 billion euros). Previously, Castlelake, another bidder for easyJet, had announced that it would not submit an offer.
