Rome, 23 July (LaPresse) – Unicredit has closed the second quarter with a net profit of 2.9 billion, whilst total profit for the first half of the year stood at 6.37 billion, up 3 per cent on last year. The group announced this, emphasising that it represents “a significant shift in momentum, marked by the best second-quarter and first-half results in our history”. Second-quarter revenue stood at 6.5 billion, up 7 per cent, with core revenue rising by 6 per cent year-on-year, “demonstrating the strong commercial momentum and the results of our strategy and investments”.
