Rome, 25 October (LaPresse) – ‘We are not ruling anything out. Meanwhile, today we want to show that there is a very important part of this country which, as in recent weeks, is taking to the streets and demanding change.’ These were the words of CGIL General Secretary Maurizio Landini at the start of the “Democracy at Work” demonstration, responding to those who asked him if there would be a strike against the budget. ‘If we are not heard and if Parliament and the Government do not agree to radically change what we consider to be a flawed law, we will evaluate the situation and we are not ruling anything out. Our mobilisation will certainly not end here if things do not change.’
