Milan, Sept. 30 (LaPresse) – The online platform created by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport is now active, in accordance with Decree No. 305 of August 18, 2025, for the submission of data related to speed enforcement devices (speed cameras). This was announced by the Ministry in a statement published on its official website.
Authorities and bodies overseeing road police forces, already authorized through credentials issued by the Central Database of the Directorate General of Motor Vehicles, must upload to the portal the data related to such devices or systems, including brand, model, type, version (if applicable), serial number, and the relevant MIT decree of approval or extension.
The Ministry adds that any changes or updates to the data entered must be communicated immediately.
The information provided by the authorities will be published on the official MIT website to ensure public access and transparency.
Entering data for each device or system is a necessary condition for the lawful use of these systems by authorities and public bodies, the Ministry explains. For more information on how the platform operates, users are invited to consult the directive that governs its implementation.
