Dl Aid, Letta: “It must be approved as soon as possible, without blackmail”

Millions of families are waiting for help to weather the energy crisis

(LaPresse) “I hope the Aid Decree will be approved as soon as possible, because there are so many positive things in there for families and businesses. Any delay is bad for the country. There is the yes of the PD to approve it as soon as possible without getting into either blackmail or discussions that have to do with the election campaign. This is not the time, families are waiting for interventions.”

Pd Secretary Enrico Letta said this in Rome on the sidelines of a meeting with Confcommercio. Asked about Carlo Calenda’s invitation to suspend the election campaign to talk about the energy crisis, Letta did not respond: he sketched a laugh and waved to reporters.
