(LaPresse) Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Monday that Russia is not opposed to negotiations on Ukraine, but the longer they take “the more difficult it will be to reach an agreement.” Speaking to Russian state TV reporter Pavel Zarubin, Lavrov said Moscow’s position was expressed by Vladimir Putin a few weeks ago at another event. “He said we are not against negotiations, and speaking about the Ukrainian situation, we do not reject negotiations with Ukraine, but the longer it takes, the more difficult it will be to find an agreement,” Lavrov said.
