"Such a large number of crimes against national security bases and the links established between Ukrainian law enforcement and Russian special services raise very serious questions for the leaders concerned," the president said. "Each of these questions will be answered."

(LaPresse) Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has “removed from office” the head of the security service, Ivan Bakanov, and the prosecutor general, Iryna Venediktova. Making the announcement, via a video on his own social channels, was the Ukrainian leader himself. “Such a large number of crimes against national security bases and the links established between Ukrainian law enforcement and Russian special services raise very serious questions for the leaders concerned,” the president said. “Each of these questions will be answered.”
