Visit comes as PM Scholz wavers on increasing support for Ukraine
(LaPresse) – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, together with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, visited the NATO Enhanced Forward Presence (EFP) battalion in the training camp in Pabrade, about 60 km from the capital Vilnius. Scholz previously said his country is ready to increase its military presence in the Baltic region to address new regional security challenges.
