When getting the vaccine children needs the parental consent and must be accompanied by an adult

The US Food and Drug Administration authorized the emergency use of Pfizer/BioNTech’s coronavirus in 12- to 15-year-olds in the United States. More than 5,600 CVS Pharmacy locations nationwide are available for scheduling a Covid-19 vaccine appointment, but any children needs the parental consent and must be accompanied by an adult.

Some parents are still not sure on vaccinating their kids. A recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll found that nearly 25% of U.S. parents who have at least one child from the ages of 12 to 15 said they will “definitely not get their child vaccinated.” About 26% said they will wait to see how it’s working, and 18% said they will vaccinate only if their child’s school requires it.
