England has given out more than 5 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine
Salisbury Cathedral, the keeper of one of the best preserved copies of the ‘Magna Carta’ and the spire of the tallest church in England, has become a Covid vaccination center. Hundreds of elderly residents of the English city have arrived in the great nave, which offers enough space to gather large numbers of people while respecting social distances. To help ease the tension, the organists also played relaxing music for the people who were waiting in line.
The UK has instead given more than five million doses of the coronavirus vaccine to 4.6 million people. British Health Minister Matt Hancock reported this in the House of Commons. The country is working at a rate of 200 vaccinations per minute. “A huge undertaking”, said the minister, quoted by the BBC.
